Katja has held senior positions in the online industry for more than ten years. While still in college, she worked for Hubert Burda Media before joining French hardware manufacturer Synelec (now Planar). Later, she was in charge of the product shift from books to digital products such as apps or e-books and e-commerce at the global Reed Elsevier Group. Katja also worked on the global stage for 1&1 Internet AG and was in charge of the international marketing of application products.
Starting in 2005, she helped global e-commerce provider asknet develop its e-marketing segment and supported clients around the world in boosting online sales and tapping into new markets. Later, in her role as VP Marketing, Sales and Business Development, she played a major role in powering the company’s international growth.
Katja earned a degree in business administration from Munich University of Applied Sciences and spent a year at the University of Málaga.
