Carsten Knop became Editor-in-Chief of all digital products of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung in 2018. After studying business administration in Münster a traineeship at the F. A.Z. in 1993 led into the field of journalism. First editorial position at "Börsen-Zeitung", relocation to Düsseldorf as a correspondent. After his return to F. A. Z. Knop moved to New York in 1999 as a business correspondent, followed by another move to San Francisco in 2001. From 2007 to the end of 2017, one of the editors in charge of the business section.
